I stand at the kitchen counter making our coffee and shiver. Early spring still feels like winter. He comes up behind me and encircles my waist with his arms.
“I’ve got to go.” He says into my hair and his voice reverberates through my body.
I lean into him and rub his forearms as his face dips lower and nuzzles my ear. I shiver again and little tingles start in my neck as his face travels to the spot where the tingles began.
I let out a sigh as I rub my ass against him. He responds and I grin.
“You better go then.” I say.
“Bad girl.” He answers and works his hand inside my night shirt. He strokes my nipples with just the tips of his fingers and I shiver once more as I reach up and run my fingers into his hair.
“I’m bad?” I finally manage and he laughs and kisses my neck again, then turns me and kisses my lips.
“Gave you something to think about all day.” He says when we part.
I smile, “You too.” And hand him his coffee.
We walk to the door and kiss again.
As soon as I close the door I start thinking of what will happen when he comes home tonight.
And I shiver as I imagine it. But I’m no longer cold.
